Surrey Students’ Union is the sole representative body for University of Surrey students. We represent over 17,000 students at every level of their university experience, led by a team of elected student representatives and a dynamic staff team. We are proud to be 7th in the National Students' Survey for student experience.
Our main venue, Rubix is one of the biggest licensed venues south of London, a truly multi-purpose venue. Its core nights are Wednesdays and Fridays but there is always something going on throughout the week.
We’re looking for part-time team members to work in Rubix Nightclub. This position is open to new student starters for September 2026 or returning students in September 2026 to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on Wednesday and Friday Nights at Rubix Nightclub. This role also involves working within a team to provide good and efficient service whilst working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include
- Preparation of the bar and bar area ready for service
- Providing professional customer service at all times
- Ensuring correct charges are made and payment received
- Following all health and safety procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of both staff and customers
- Maximising sales through fast and efficient service
- Following instructions by supervisors and managers
Pay is £12.71 per hour
Training is included within the job and you will be able to sit industry recognised qualifications.
